Digital Store and Frozen Meal FAQ’s
How does ordering work?
Browse the digital store here. Listed items are ready and available. Select desired items, delivery preference, and enter payment info. Be sure to click the submit button!
Once the order is submitted, Boki’s Kitchen will arrange delivery via text for time that works for your schedule, as Boki’s prefers to deliver when someone can take meals inside and put away in the freezer promptly.

Delivery is available across the tri-state area. Our most frequent stops include Quincy, Mendon, Ursa, Camp Point in Illinois, and Canton in Missouri.

Boki’s offers a variety of items including frozen meal solutions and pantry items.
Frozen meal solutions include main dish items, meat dish items, appetizers, breakfasts, soups, desserts, and Boki’s Bites (individual meals).
Pantry items may include pickles and other canned goods when in stock.

Each frozen meal item will have instructions listed on the label for oven, crock pot, electric pressure cooker, stove top, or microwave.
Most new clients receive “Thank You” cards with their order which also contain instructions for most all offerings.

Digital store items are updated on a monthly basis. Since a variety of food is offered, we make small-batch items to restock.

If you see it in inventory— it is in the freezer and ready to go!

Most of our main dish meals and casseroles are about 4 servings.
Most sides are about 5 servings.
Our soups usually contain around 6 cups of soup.
Desserts vary based on serving pan size.
All meals offered will have serving size information when selected on our order page.

Other than adding a side or some sort of bread option, our meals, meats, soups, sides, appetizers, breakfasts, and desserts are ready to bake from frozen and can be considered a meal on their own.

Boki’s Kitchen prices events based on a variety of criteria including menu selections, quantity of people and date and time.
Boki’s Kitchen will quote the meal by price per person after obtaining details about your event.

Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. The sooner the date is saved, the more time, energy, and attention to detail your event receives! To book catering, a deposit is required.

Start by requesting a quote here!
Boki’s will reach out to you to start the conversation about your event. Once an agreement has been made, Boki’s Kitchen will require a deposit to save the date of your event.

We don't need all the information right away, however, when we have a clear vision of what you're desiring for your event, it allows us to create a more accurate quote.
Helpful information includes the date, time, venue, and about how many guests you’re expecting. To provide the most accurate quote, it also helps to know what kind of menu you’re considering.
We are always happy to make suggestions based on our experience!

Yes! We can provide the plates, napkins, and cutlery!
We refer to this as “table service” and use strong, disposable white plates, durable, clear cutlery, and sturdy, absorbent, cloth-like feeling napkins.
If you prefer something different than what we provide, you’re welcome to supply it! We can decide this as we plan for your event.

Yes! We can provide water, tea, and/or lemonade at your event if needed!
Some venues handle the drinks, and some choose to bring in their own beverages.
We’ll discuss drink options and venue setup to best suit your unique event.

Depending on where your event is held, we usually require 2-4 tables for service, and a kitchen area or prep area with a sink is preferred! This is something we can further discuss upon booking!

Depending on your type of event, it may be best to have serving tables covered for the event to match the theme. We do not supply any table coverings.
Small decorations can be incorporated with the tablescape as discussed prior to event.

No— it’s expected to have tables and/or plenty of counter space available upon arrival of ready-to-eat food. Space needed will be discussed before the event.

HELL YES!
We offer a large selection of desserts including pies, cakes, cookie bars, and delites.

Yes! We usually leave disposable pans of leftovers (if there are any) for easy clean-up!

No! Everything is disposable, and we always leave a tidy space when we leave our prep area.

Who is Boki’s Kitchen?
Bob and Niki Nichols make up Boki’s Kitchen. “Bo” (pronounced ‘beau") from Bob’s name, and “ki” (pronounced “key”) from Niki’s name. They've been known as "Boki" to friends since 2017 and never imagined what the name would evolve into. The catering business was started in 1989 by Niki's mom and aunt, Kathy and Judy. What started out as “Pastries Plus” quickly became rooted in creating a community around wholesome food and offering friendly service, always! We are proud to be family owned and operated since 1989.

In certain circumstances, Boki’s Kitchen will work to collaborate with select businesses to wholesale items. Boki’s Kitchen is licensed and inspected through the State of Illinois to wholesale goods and merchandise.
